i think, torben wrote a special song for a special person in his life.
that makes me happy.
and all without using the words " i love you ". respect.  smiley

when I heard the album for the first time completly, I was a bit shocked  rolleyes!
I don´t know, what I did expected after the great single-songs.....
screenface blew me away, and I thought:"what the f**k is this??? - this is a monster!"
but know I can hear this intro without a pain in my gaze and my ears *lol*
I felt quickly in love with songs like "definition power", "burning out" with this great introduction, and yes, also "sands" (one of my absolute favorites)!
later a big encore with the rest, in particular "kein mord" (great lyrics), "no tears" and the great slow songs "blessed" and "colder".....
for me at the moment the best album, diorama did !
this album has a lot of balls and testosteron, and so more interesting for many male listeners, but also a bittersweet harmony in typical diorama-style.
but hey, I also love the other works (I´m a fu**king lemming *hehe*).

I must add as a consequence of present delightment :), how much I just love that Burning Out melody changes. It starts with tender melody, than just like a wave on the sea occurs this turn over and transformation into totally different culminative theme (during the refrain). IT makes the song so complex and interesting...

And I am fascinated by the Torben's ability to sing this high! What a voice...
Burning out is my present fav. but Sands is catching up with its great idea and totally crazy melodic twists.
I guess I love the most those songs where vocalists use all their voice to sing something; where they basically scream...It is so overwhelming and emotional.

No Tears...Colder...New drugs ;)

I believe this is to be one of their best albums (beside PALE which is the reason I fell completely in love with their music), although it is truly hard to pick between so many good releases.
ANyway, they have developed their style and have made this album complete in all ways, both ideas about lyrics, melody themes (tender ones, agressive ones, bizzare ones, you name it)...voice "plays"...
It is a little bit more "male" than previous releases, but the depth of music is absolutely overwhelming for everyone and this is a good sequence after those more "tender" albums...
